We would like to introduce you to a sampling of the talented caregivers on our registry. As a broker, we match caregivers with adults and seniors, taking into account your preferences, as well as the availability, location, and general qualifications that you are seeking from a caregiver.
For instance, you might say, "I would like a middle-years female caregiver who can cook a square meal," or, "I would like a quiet caregiver that doesn't mind helping around the house," or "I would like a caregiver that has hospice experience and will walk my dog."
We then contact appropriate candidates and put you in touch with each other. You have the freedom to get to know and make decisions directly with your caregiver, without agency restrictions.
Rest easy! We personally know each of our caregivers, many of whom have been with Caregiver Connection for 5 to 10 or more years! Most have nursing assistant (CNA) or equivalent backgrounds. In addition to our 6-Part Screening Process, we also select for "soft skills" such as warmth, empathy, kindness and articulateness, as well as for "common sense", via our Caregiver Quiz and a total of 4 hours of in-person conversations.
We also gather ongoing client feedback, which helps us to maintain high standards in terms of reliability and overall performance.
We are a green company that recycles and have a strict non-smoking policy.
Caregiver Connection's 6-Part Screening Process
Many of our independent caregivers have certified nursing assistant (CNA) or other healthcare-related backgrounds, such as nursing, massage or acupuncture studies. They specialize in medical care giving, including hospice care. Caregivers must have basic care giving skills and experience, as well as interpersonal skills, in order to be placed on our registry. Additionally, caregivers are required to have their own cell phone, cars and e-mail, for quick response.
Caregiver Connection's independent caregivers are screened in a 6-part screening process:
- Phone screening
- 1:1 interview with recruiter
- Group interview and quiz
- Work references verified
- Criminal background check, including driving history, repeated every 3 years
- Ongoing client feedback
